Our preceptorship support is rooted in a meaningful clinical setting through Newstone Behavioral Health, a psychiatric mental health telehealth practice. Under the leadership of Bosede Iwuamadi, DNP, PMHNP, preceptees gain exposure to compassionate, individualized mental health care for patients ages seven and older, including support for conditions such as ADHD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and anger management. Dr. Iwuamadi is not only a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, but also a genuine, level-headed mentor who values patient care, accessibility, and service to underserved communities. She has a strong track record of mentoring aspiring professionals, and many individuals who have completed preceptorship under her guidance have gone on to become successful nurse practitioners. This creates a personal, family-oriented learning environment where future healthcare professionals can build confidence, strengthen clinical judgment, and learn from a mentor who leads with integrity, faith, and compassion.
